Gorilla Tag Lore
Deception Party Games
(4+ Players)
Agrou:
Interact with the settings to see if you would like to ban any roles. (This game is essentially the party game Mafia if it were controlled by a computer)
Select the appropriate amount of players. Each player picks a name and profile picture to use.
Pass around the computer so that every player can see their role. When you receive the device, press the button to reveal the your role, DO NOT show this screen to any other player. Read your description and press the button again to hide it. Then pass the device to the next player.
Once every player knows their role, sit around a circle and place the computer in a spot accessible to everybody (try to sit in a place where you can easily move without disturbing the other players).
During the night, every player closes their eyes. No important information may be given out until the morning (it may be helpful if you also cover your ears).
Sound cues:
Medium: bones clattering (close your eyes when bones clatter again)
Werewolf: dog bark
Seer: magical sparkle sound
Witch: cat meowing
Guard: symbol crashing
Pyromaniac: evil laughter
When you hear your role's sound cue, only you (or other players with that role) may open your eyes. Then you use the device to select your choice of action displayed on screen. Once you have selected, return to your seat and close your eyes.
After the night is over, the morning will be signaled by a loud rooster caw. All players may now open their eyes and view the screen.
Any player that has died will appear with a large red X over their profile. These players may no longer speak until the next round. Those doused in oil will appear with oil over their profile.
Discuss with the town who you believe is evil. Once you have all reached a decision by majority. Select the player you have chosen to execute.
Repeat the cycle back into night until only one team remains alive. Good luck!
Chameleon:
Google "chameleon game categories" and find an image of a four by four grid of similar words to use. Example:
2. Select the appropriate amount of total players and the number of players to be a chameleon (not adding to total), then press start.
3. Pass the device around to each player. When you receive it, press space to reveal your role.
If you are a human, you will receive the coordinates of the secret word. !REMEMBER WHAT IT IS! Example: D2 would be "Plane" on the example card.
If you are a Chameleon, you do not know the secret word. Pretend like you do and try to figure out what it is.
4. Once every player has received their role, select a random player to begin by giving their hint. They must give a phrase that somehow relates to the secret word before the next player (use clockwise/random name picker/whatever other method to figure out who) gives the next hint
5. Once every player has given their hint, all players discuss who they believe is a chameleon. Afterwards must come to a vote by majority of who they have chosen to be outcasted. After the votes are all in and tallied. The player chosen must reveal their role. If they were the chameleon, the humans win. If they were a human, the chameleon wins and can then reveal their secret.
(If multiple chameleons are in the game, players must vote out that many people in one go. After all votes are casted, everybody reveals their role)
